It was like magic really. I thought was just me, I spent a lot of time watching videos and trying to string my own stick. In the end I just kept compounding my mistakes, too much trial and error. After installing the Hero M2 pocket I was able to pass and shoot with a much better level of consistency. Best $30 i’ve spent in a while.

I can’t believe this was not invented sooner. It really has the potential to revolutionize the growth of the sport, especially in areas like our with out a lot of resources. The confidence my son has now while playing is significant. The door to more athletes has just been broken off it’s hinges.

The sport has grown so much in the past few years and the biggest hurdle I’ve seen from a parents perspective is the skill and time it takes a player to break a pocket in to where it has the ability to pass and shoot consistently. I think what Hero has done is take a lot of the guess work out of the equation. Their solution is elegant and smart. It’s one of those creations that will undoubtedly help the sport growth in the non hotbed areas.

Soft mesh was too soft with no pocket and ball hang up. Hard mesh was too hard and impossible to break in. Some of the newer mesh is pretty good but really hard to know as a parent what a good pocket shape is or even where to begin with the stringing (more like who has the time) - The Hero lacrosse pocket was our answer.

I really don’t care how they do it. All I care about is the shape. Each one is exactly like the previous. The shape is perfect.

Stringing was breeze, took about 10 minutes plus or minus. Passing was money but catching you have to give a little (actually proper technique) this product is really as close to “plug and play” as you will get.

The product is what I would call an All- Star experience. In other words, I give it a 8/9 out of 10. My kids love it, I love it. It’ so bomb proof even I can pass and catch and that is saying something. I’d recommend it to other parents in my shoes.
